In memory : Terry the Maltese

This is gonna be a sad sad post. No, Terry's not dead.

Mom woke up this morning, to her horro, Terry poop in his sleeping area, and even stepped on it. So she washed and scrub the area and bathe Terry before going out in the afternoon to do some Christmas shopping. Mom then went to get a pack Natural Balance kibbles, donated by a kind lady for Terry. She headed back home in the night, to find Terry pooing in his sleping area AGAIN! So she did the whole process of cleaning up again, little did she know, this would be the last time she's cleaning up after Terry.

Terry the Maltese was being fostered by AuntyS, without the knowledge that the so called "rescuer" is putting him up for sale of $300 instead of an adoption. Terry came into Mom's hands as AuntyS did not know how to deal with a dog who:

1. Lies on his own waste
2. Does not have a good appetite
3. Cowers in a corner when she approaches
4. Has bad ear and eye condition

Here are some pictures of Terry @the vet when Mom 1st took him
His eyes could only be half opened due to infection

Because of him, Mom had to travel up and down, to SPCA and the place where AuntyS lives. The "resucer" made live hell for AuntyS, banged on her door and sent threats smses. In the end we offered to pay her, the "rescuer" for Terry, but she refused to accept cheque payment.

After a few days, she, the "rescuer" made another police report, along with the REAL owner of Terry, as they had a stronger evidence, Mom had to surrender Terry over, else there'll be a never ending case going on.

Mom was real sad when she bade Terry goodbye at the police station, afterall, Mom did put lots of effort into making Terry a real dog. Now Terry knows how to
1. Runs up and down excitedly when he sees Mom taking out the food bowl or leash
2. Is almost 100% outdoor trained
3. Able to eat kibbles, without having to tempt him with canned food
4. Responds to Mom when she asks him to come

Although sometimes, erm, most of the time I dislike having other dogs in my house, I will sure miss Terry, he brought me peace too, as Jordan started disturbing Terry ever since he came, so there, I had more time on my own with Mom, and my lovely bed alone!!

I do hope Terry would be in good hands now. Seeing Mom so worried about him, I promised her to pray for Terry tonight before I go to bed.

Dear Lord, I pray that you will watch over Terry every minute, every second, let him be merry wherever he is right now, let him be a good dog, a lovely companion for a human, treated as a family member, to be loved and cared for. Lord, I pray that he will be fed well with all kinds of good and nutritious food, brought down for long walks and have a cosy little corner for a goodnight's sleep. Also, not forgetting, tolet him be able to to live like a dog from now on, with confidence and self esteem, never allow him to be like what he was in the past. In your name I pray, Amen!

Terry, We'll miss ya!!

(I really do miss Terry, hope he's fine wherever he is right now. Sobs.)

You know, that evil "rescuer" said we terriers are a bunch of CRAZY dogs? I felt like biting her when I overheard Mom telling it to her forumer.

Poor Terry.
Whoever who neglected him are not fit to be humans. What goes around comes around, justice is just round the corner.
Good luck, Terry.

Yes! They should become grass in their next life. So that they'll get pee-ed on, poo-ed on, stepped on and spit on!
